  • My DC Motor is clicking and spinning!
  • Due to excessive strain, your motor has slipped to protect its gears.
    Solution
    • To prevent damage to the internal gears, the DC Motor is designed to emit clicks and begin turning freely ("slip") when a excessive strain is placed on the axis. Inspect the motor and fix any strain being placed on the gears. The wear and tear caused by continuously running a motor in this condition reduces the load required for another slip to occur.
